Underground support netting is a physical ground support structure that is designed to provide necessary support for unstable mining tunnels and shafts, enhancing the stability of the underground mining system and ensuring the safety of underground miners and mining devices.
 
It commonly consists of high tensile wire mesh, soil or rock nails, spike plates, steel ropes and rope anchors. The underground support netting is commonly used to cover the roof of the roadway with high tensile wire mesh and fasten the high tensile wire mesh onto the mining surface with an array of rope anchors. As the high tensile wire mesh is flexible and can adopt to all kinds of mining surfaces and maximize its contact with slope through the pre-tension, thereby forming an underground support netting system that can provide maximum mining tunnel and shaft stability and ensure the safety of underground miners and mining devices.
